Anna Islamova has over 15 years of experience with business strategy and management across diverse industries and functional areas in the U.S. and Russia. She raised capital and co-founded a two-sided digital marketplace for the $32B boating industry. She has been responsible for product management, integrations, and strategic development.
Before founding her company, she served as a Director and later as a VP of Media at a high-growth digital agency that drove new customer acquisition to Fortune 500 companies (banks, lenders, investment companies, and credit agencies.) She hired, trained, and led a media team responsible for generating 80% of business revenue. Under her leadership, the organization thrived in a highly competitive market by leveraging digital technologies and a data-driven approach to the customer journey, quality control, and product development.
Anna holds a Masters in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Chelyabinsk State University in Russia. She also participated in the Leading High Performing Teams program at UCLA Anderson Business School in 2021.
Anna enjoys sailing with her husband and two kids in California. Born in Miass, Russia, Anna loves languages and enjoys contributing by interpreting and delivering programs in Russian.
